Are you looking for great books which are set in Arizona?
This is my first post in a new series I’m starting. My goal is to tag books by their locations. I have found many great books because they were set in a location I was interested in. But I don’t think there are many user-friendly resources on the internet to find books tagged by location. As I build my database I will be creating articles like this one to highlight books by state and other locations.
Books Set in Arizona
I’ve been living in Arizona for almost four years. I love the desert landscape and the rich history. I am ½ Native American and most of the great Native American books have Arizona as their setting.
I found hundreds of books that take place in Arizona, but I narrowed it down to a top 10 list of books that are set in Arizona.
I have added ratings for these books as well. To determine the rating I looked at a few online databases and averaged the average user rating for each book. I also considered how many ratings each book had.
One of my favorite books on this list is the books by Tony Hillerman. His books take place on Navajo Nation (located in the northeast corner of Arizona). They are mystery novels that take place among the Navajo.
